Sooooo Wales can’t win but they can’t lose by more than 10 points. That way Ireland come 2nd. Excellent.
England are sooo gonna win the six nations! This is the first time in my life I’ve supported France!
We knew by the end of last week they would. At least it wasn’t a grand slam though :)

olyy replied to your post: Right, so I’ll be supporting.
You misspelt Italy and England!
I’m not really that bothered about the first and third games today. I’m supporting the Scottish on behalf of friends of mine and being Irish, it’ll be a travesty if I support the English.
Scotland, Ireland (duh) and then Wales.
I approve of charity. I approve of doing something for nothing, raising funds for a good cause. I recently hosted an event for The Alzheimer’s Society which raised £1,000. This was excellent. This is how to raise money for charity.
How to not raise money for charity: have an amount you’re…
Penalties and one drop goal. wtf.

It’s amazing that we are able to get responses from people in dangerous areas and such quick ones too. Even if they’re half-across the world in a earthquake disaster! But the power of social media comes at a cost…
With very little journalist presence and mainstream media attention, most of the news being reported to us, the people, we are picking up from twitter, here on Tumblr and perhaps, Facebook which leaves us open to rumours and false information. For example, this morning it was reported by several people that the creator of Pokémon, Satoshi Tajiri had died which Nintendo has denied already and the death of Yuko Yamaguchi, creator of Hello Kitty, which also has been denied. It’s clear somebody in the west would have come up with these rumours (Pokémon and Hello Kitty?! You couldn’t get more Japanese) created to cause panic and so forth which isn’t helping anyone. Plus you have people making empty promises.
TL;DR: Social Media is fantastic but not fantastic enough.
olyy replied to your post: What’s happening, Ireland
If by fantastic you mean kicking away all their chances, then yup, one of the best :P Their game plan was terrible, it was like watching a game a few years ago when the ELVs were in full force - poor match to watch, and neither team deserved to win
Maybe I’m just giving myself hope but you are right; they were both dreadful. What I don’t understand is why Ireland only start looking for trys at the frickin’ end of the game?!
REBLOG MY LOVELY FOLLOWERS!
Original poster is deactivated ‘fraid. Which moves me onto my next point about this whole disaster in which is starting to piss me off.
The whole ‘I’ll donate x amount if people reblog, like, whatever this’ kind of posts which have been popping up on the dashboard more than three times today. Not that I’m saying that charity is bad or that you shouldn’t support the cause; I’m saying that you should be drawn into clear hoaxes. I mean $30,896 donated at time of posting? I don’t know anybody who would be easily able to give that sort of money away. Furthermore, I think it’s very insulting that somebody thinks it’s a great idea to use this horrible event as a way to get cheap and immoral publicity.
Maybe this is a real cause (which I doubt from the deactivated poster) and I hope this $1 doller goes to good use.
(adrenaline fuelled post)
The way Ireland plays, frankly, completely baffles me. How can a team play so well in the first half and getting a great start as far as score is concerned and then play so horrendously in the second half? It just doesn’t make any sense.
One thing can be said though; Ronan O’Gara is bloody fantastic.
Ireland seem to be their best now. Let’s hope they keep it up.
Now, to make this day better, I expect an Irish win.
Here in the blogosphere, there has been an increasing trend that writers and bloggers have been longing to get more page views and readers. People will change their views or opinions to suit a certain demographic and keep to that which I personally find to be against what the idea of blogging is about.
I thought blogging was about expressing yourself through literature like poems or stories or through opinionated posts like this very one. I’ve always though this blog to be a platform where I can share my ideas, opinons and views much like a open diary. You could talk about your day, your life, your experiences; or you could talk about the news or politics or the community you live in. Or you could just write about something you’re really passionate about. Blogging, ultimately, should be fun.
The point is that we as bloggers and writers shouldn’t have to change our opinions, views or what we write about just so we could have a couple more readers or followers as a couple of people may call it.
I’d love your opinion on this either by reblogging this post onto your own blogs or by answering below.
EDIT: Don’t get me wrong, when people reblog, comment, like my posts or better still, follow my blog, I feel happy. It’s nice to read that.

And ironically, these so called “wankers” are one of the most famous people on the pop culture scene. They must be for a reason and what reason would that be? Oh yes, they have fan bases which is what the music industry (and nearly every other industry) needs to be very successful.
This post is about the latest episode of Heston Blumenthal’s show, Heston’s Mission Impossible in which he’s trying to change establishment’s approach to food. In this latest episode, he goes about trying to change a cinema’s idea of how food and the experience of seeing a movie can be improved. Thing is, he’s no business-man and he has no concept of the word ‘profit’.
In this episode he tries several different methods of trying to improve the experience of cinema such as inside-out hotdogs and flavoured popcorn and seman smelling gunk. These ideas are quite… interesting but I can’t understand why he picks these ideas when none of them can be produced on a large scale for a small amount of money where you can get a decent profit from each sale. This is why, like popcorn is such a good choice, Heston!
While I don’t agree that people should pay a price at least 400% the price of popcorn in the cinema but why should I pay more for something that would be out-dated in a couple of weeks. Heston doesn’t seem to realise that some people go to the cinema every week and the ‘unique experience’ Blumenthal’s food would offer will wear off in a couple of months. CLEVER YOU HESTON!
